Description
NextGen Hospitality Solutions is looking for a Restaurant General Manager to lead our upscale casual dining establishment in Wailea-Makena. This full-time, on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the dining experience and drive operational excellence in our restaurant.
As the Restaurant General Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional service and a high-quality dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing operational procedures, and implementing strategic initiatives that foster a culture of excellence and teamwork. Your leadership will play a crucial role in achieving our business goals while maintaining the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that our patrons love.
We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $120,000 annually, along with a strong benefits package and opportunities for career advancement within our growing company.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure a high-quality guest experience
- Manage and mentor staff, fostering a positive team environment
- Implement operational policies and procedures for efficiency
- Monitor financial performance and manage budget to achieve revenue goals
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop marketing and promotional strategies to attract patrons
- Resolve guest complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain menu quality and innovation
- Analyze business metrics to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in restaurant management, with a focus on upscale casual dining
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience in staff training and development
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software
