Overview
Registered Nurse – Psychiatry travel assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire. This role is on a Geropsychiatric Unit within a hospital setting. Start date: September 28, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,149–$2,282. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.).

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care on the Geropsychiatric Unit, including assessment, monitoring, and reporting of patient symptoms and condition changes
- Maintain accurate patient histories, records, and documentation; perform mental and physical health assessments
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions and effectiveness
- Assist patients with daily activities; support participation in the therapeutic milieu, group sessions, education, and 1:1 work with individuals
- Collaborate with physicians, the multidisciplinary treatment team, and external health and social services to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Plan, coordinate, and document nursing care activities; ensure timely admission assessments, progress notes, and discharge planning

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Hampshire
- BLS certification required
- Education: 2-year associate degree or nursing diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience: 1 year nursing experience preferred
- Medical terminology proficiency; strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a geropsychiatric unit and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
