Registered Nurse – Psychiatric travel assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire. Start date 09/28/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay ranges from $2,186 to $2,278 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: Night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am), 3 days of 12 hours each. The position involves work on a hospital-based geropsychiatric unit, providing comprehensive nursing care to adults with complex psychiatric and medical needs. This assignment emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support safe, effective patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care on the geropsychiatric unit, including assessment, monitoring, documentation, and timely reporting of changes in patient conditions
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring accuracy and safety per physician orders
- Complete and maintain accurate medical histories, mental and physical assessments, progress notes, and other required documentation
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team; participate in daily groups, 1:1 interactions, and milieu-based activities
- Coordinate nursing care activities, discharge planning, and collaboration with physicians, therapists, social workers, and external agencies to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements
- Active State of New Hampshire RN license
- BLS certification required
- Education: Associate degree or diploma from a 3-year nursing program required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience: 1 year nursing experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology; strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work on a hospital-based psychiatric/geropsychiatric unit and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
