As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon02:30 PM – 10:30 PM Tue02:30 PM – 10:30 PM Wed02:30 PM – 10:30 PM Thur02:30 PM – 10:30 PM Fri02:30 PM – 10:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, aircraft support areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access. Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements. Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
