Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by healthcare providers to assess their physical conditions and needs.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that address individual patient goals encompassing various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Administer therapeutic interventions and modalities effectively, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and techniques.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families, explaining treatment objectives and home exercises to enhance recovery outside the clinical setting.
• Document and track patient progress using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring consistency with physician's plans and fostering accountability in patient care.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards and actively participate in team meetings to enhance the overall practice effectiveness.
• Meet organizational benchmarks for patient utilization and engagement to contribute to operational success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work directly with a diverse range of patients, primarily focusing on those recovering from surgeries, athletic injuries, chronic conditions, and developmental challenges. Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA or CAPTE.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New York.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
