Bakery Worker-05 – Salary: $20.85/hour – Work Schedule: Intermittent (0‑19 hours/week) – Location: Kodiak, AK – Announcement #663 – Series: NA‑7402‑05 Responsibilities Collaborate with management to determine and direct the bakery department. Daily production of fresh pizza dough, preparing pizza by customer orders and ensuring strict adherence to recipes. Prepare and bake muffins, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and other baked goods for daily sales. Generate weekly orders for bakery items and submit to the facility manager. Restock prep and cooking areas with supplies as needed. Track day‑old bakery items and complete waste log when necessary. Clean cooking areas and service equipment, including pots, pans, mixers, ovens, and proof boxes. Mop floors and vacuum as required. Serve drinks and food, clear tables, and prepare fruit and vegetables for cooking and serving by washing, peeling, scraping, and dicing. Make sub sandwiches from cut meats and prepare salads, shredding lettuce, slicing tomatoes, and opening cans as necessary. Portion out food by placing uniform amounts. Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. Ability to work as a team player. Read, write, and speak fluent English for effective communication with supervisors, customers, and staff. Understand baking operation procedures, including measuring and equipment operation. Follow oral and written instructions such as menus, recipes, and SOPs. Physically able to lift 50 lbs or greater and carry for a reasonable distance. Perform climbing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for long periods. Preferred Qualifications One (1) year of general food service experience, preferably with baking experience.
