Supply TechnicianSAIC is seeking a Supply Technician for our customer site in North Charleston, SC.The Supply Technician:Provides expertise and the ability to supervise the LMADIS Materials Management teamProvides material purchase status reports to managementWorks with Purchasing Team to execute common buys across programs and build long term agreements with key suppliersWorks with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Purchasing to identify and qualify new suppliersCollaborates with other managers to determine material needsWorks with all Program Managers, Engineers, and Program Logisticians to furnish complete Build of Materials (BOMs) to Purchasing for RFQ and procurement requirementsResolves program shortages by reviewing and analyzing all back-ordersMakes periodic calls to vendors to insure promised dates are keptCollects merchandise from the Shipping and receiving section and safely transports materials to the receiving areaReceives and documents merchandise for delivery or returnKeeps an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouseIdentifies any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notifies the ManagementEnsures that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeledSupervises all material through computer inputAssists with training of newly employed workersQualificationsRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma and five (5) years of experienceRequires excellent time management and prioritizing skills to meet the challenges of unexpected program updates and requirementsStrong communication and conflict resolution skillsAbility to multi-taskAttention to detail and accuracy are criticalCMPRO experienceMust be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a public trustOverviewSAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
