Internal Medicine physician employment in Georgia :

A healthcare network in Georgia is seeking a licensed Collaborating Physician to provide Remote clinical oversight and collaboration for employed nurse practitioners.

About the Opportunity:

Hours: Standard business
Setting: Remote

Responsibilities:

Provide clinical oversight for assigned nurse practitioners
Complete quarterly chart reviews
Review patient charts in alignment with patient volume and regulatory requirements
Participate in physician and nurse practitioner meetings as needed
Provide clinical guidance and support to assigned nurse practitioners

Qualifications:

Board certification in Internal Medicine
Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license
Current residence in Georgia
Current practice in Georgia
Approximately 5+ years of post-training clinical experience
Clean malpractice and disciplinary history
Willingness to complete one onsite visit per year at the assigned practice site or home

Desired Skills:

Additional active state medical licenses
Telehealth or Remote Patient Monitoring experience
Experience managing chronic conditions, such as Hypertension, Diabetes, Heart Failure, and Cardiovascular Disease
Interest in a long-term collaboration

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
