Leave Management Administrator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Leave Management Administrator based in United States.

The Leave Management Administrator will oversee the coordination, administration, and tracking of employee leaves across multiple locations and jurisdictions.
This role plays a key part in ensuring leave programs are managed accurately, consistently, and in accordance with applicable employment regulations.
You will coordinate closely with employees, HR stakeholders, and third-party leave administration partners to maintain complete and timely information.
The position requires strong knowledge of leave and disability management, employment protections, and related compliance requirements.
You will use analytical and organizational skills to resolve issues, monitor leave activity, and support a positive employee experience.
Success in this role requires discretion, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage sensitive information effectively.
This is a full-time opportunity operating Monday through Friday, with candidates required to work within the Pacific or Mountain time zones.

Accountabilities

• Oversee, coordinate, and track employee leave cases across multiple locations and jurisdictions.
• Manage and monitor information provided to third-party leave administration providers, ensuring records are accurate, complete, and timely.
• Support the administration of leave and disability programs while ensuring processes align with applicable policies and legal requirements.
• Apply knowledge of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other applicable leave and employee-protection regulations.
• Review leave-related information, identify discrepancies or potential issues, and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation related to employee leave cases and related administrative activities.
• Collaborate with HR teams, employees, third-party administrators, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective leave management.
• Analyze leave information and trends to support accurate tracking, problem-solving, and informed HR decision-making.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with employees and internal stakeholders regarding leave processes and requirements.
• Handle confidential employee information with appropriate discretion and professionalism.
• Support consistent leave administration practices across different locations and jurisdictions.
• Perform additional HR and leave-management activities as required to support organizational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field combined with at least two years of HR Generalist experience focused on leave or disability management.
• Alternatively, five years of HR Generalist experience with an emphasis on leave or disability management, along with a current HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
• Extensive knowledge of employee leave requirements and legal protections, particularly FMLA, ADA, and other applicable employment laws.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain sensitive or complex information clearly.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Highly organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple leave cases, deadlines, and administrative priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or comparable productivity and HR software tools.
• Ability to work effectively with employees, HR professionals, third-party providers, and other stakeholders.
• Strong judgment, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and consistency across multiple jurisdictions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to successfully complete required fingerprinting and Department of Justice clearance.
• Employment is contingent upon successfully completing applicable post-offer requirements, which may include physical examination, tuberculosis screening, background and sanctions checks, and degree or license verification.
• Candidates must be able to work Monday through Friday during daytime hours, generally between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM, with schedules varying as needed.
• Candidates must be located within the Pacific or Mountain time zones for this remote opportunity.
