Revenue Specialist III - 73002734This is a Revenue Specialist III position in the General Tax Administration Program's, Receivables Management, Field Operations - Collection Process, Consolidated Unit located at the Tallahassee Capital Circle Office Complex. The incumbent contacts taxpayers to resolve tax liabilities and coordinates the filing and enforcement actions for taxes administered by the Department of Revenue. The incumbent also executes levies, garnishments, and transferee liabilities, issues subpoenas, prepares legal affidavits, performs physical asset inventories, secures legal service of documents, and recommends agency actions.Minimum requirements include currently being employed with the Florida Department of Revenue within the General Tax Administration Program and nine months of experience collecting tax obligations within the General Tax Administration Program. Substitutions are available for experience in accounts receivables, banking, or collections, or college education.This position travels locally to taxpayers' business locations. In addition, occasional overnight travel may be necessary for training purposes. For all travel, you will use your own means of transportation. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to agency policy.The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,599.98 monthly/$43,199.76 annually.
