Registered Nurse (RN), Full Time, Night UC Health is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Short Stay Unit for the night shift at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The Short Stay Unit Nurse will carry out observation of care, delivering high‑quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures. The Short Stay Unit nurse will utilize a team‑based nursing approach to serve patients from every specialty who do not meet inpatient criteria for admission. Unit Details The Short Stay Unit is a team‑focused unit that strives to create a friendly and supportive environment. The unit provides opportunities to gain additional education and certifications, including ACLS, PALS, and CCNRP. The Short Stay Unit has been newly renovated and has access to updated resources, equipment, and technology.
