The facilities serving this assignment are hospital operating rooms in Colorado Springs, Colorado, supporting a range of acuity levels and surgical specialties. The clinical environment maintains established perioperative workflows and is structured to support coordinated anesthesia care across its operating room program. Locum tenens CAA coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

Colorado Springs, Colorado offers a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to diverse interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore destinations such as the Garden of the Gods, scenic hiking trails, and nature and wildlife tours throughout the Pikes Peak region. Additional points of interest include the National Museum of World War II Aviation, the Space Foundation Discovery Center, and the Western Museum of Mining and Industry.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts at operating room facilities in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Monday through Friday, with shift lengths of 8, 10, and some 12 hours. The surgical case mix includes a variety of acuity levels and case types, including trauma, orthopedic, spine, neurological, cardiac, thoracic, and obstetric procedures. Call coverage is negotiable as part of this locum tenens assignment. Board certification is required for all clinicians in this role.
