CT Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Mid 5x8-Hour (15:00 - 23:30) with rotating weekends required.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures including CT scans for patients across a range of age groups in an acute care setting. The role requires a high level of skill in operating imaging equipment, obtaining patient history, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform various CT imaging procedures, including abdomen, chest, and brain scans.
• Administer contrast media and prepare patients for imaging procedures.
• Ensure high quality imaging while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
• Float between outpatient and hospital units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) is mandatory.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certification is necessary.
• Fluoroscopy permit preferred.
