Collection SpecialistRidgeview Institute Smyrna - Smyrna, GAOverviewSalary Range $23.00 - $26.00 HourlyQualificationsJoin us as our Collections Specialist!The Collections Specialist is a multi-task position that covers all the main functions of the business office, which includes the following tasks; contacting commercial and managed Medicaid payors to collect on unpaid claims in a timely and accurate manner, submit account corrections and adjustments, denial management, payment variance management, and appeal submissions when required. Works with management to identify trends and address root causes of issues in the A/R. This position involves collaboration with other team members and departments, communication is essential in this role as account resolution must occur within a timely manner.What we're looking for:Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of collection experience in a healthcare setting is required or any combination of education, training, or experience in a business office environment.
