Rate: $60-$65/hr or $120K/Annum



Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong exposure to monitoring, observability, and production engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana, along with expertise in maintaining the reliability, availability, and performance of production systems.


The candidate will work closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to proactively identify issues, troubleshoot production incidents, improve system performance, and ensure high service availability.



Key Responsibilities
Monitor production applications and infrastructure using Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and other observability tools.
Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and monitoring solutions to identify system issues proactively.
Perform production support, incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem resolution.
Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, network, and performance-related issues in production environments.
Support production engineering activities, including system reliability, capacity planning, performance tuning, and availability improvements.
Participate in incident response, on-call support, and post-incident reviews as required.
Identify recurring incidents and implement automation to reduce manual operational efforts.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and application support teams to improve system stability.
Define and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Production Engineering, DevOps, or production support.
Strong experience with Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana for monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
Experience supporting business-critical production applications and distributed systems.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, including root cause analysis and incident resolution.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, shell scripting, and system performance troubleshooting.
Experience with incident management, alert management, and production operations.
Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Eligible to workP is preferred.
Exposure to automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or similar languages is an advantage.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools.
Experience with ITSM and incident management platforms.
Knowledge of reliability engineering practices, high availability, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
