TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Urology to provide specialized care to patients with urological conditions. This role involves assisting with diagnostic procedures, administering treatments, educating patients on urological health, and collaborating with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with urinary tract disorders, kidney diseases, and prostate conditions
• Assist with cystoscopies, catheter placements, urodynamic testing, and other urological procedures
• Educate patients on prevention, treatment options, and post-procedure care
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and other necessary treatments
• Monitor patients for complications, infections, or post-operative concerns
• Work closely with urologists, nephrologists, and surgical teams
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Provide compassionate support to patients dealing with chronic urological conditions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in urology, nephrology, or surgical nursing
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Advanced certification in Urology Nursing (CURN) preferred
• Experience in catheterization techniques, kidney stone management, and incontinence treatments is a plus
• Strong patient education and communication skills
