Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $9,470 - $11,210 Start Date: September 1, 2026 End Date: November 24, 2026 Duration: 12 weeks Employment Type: Locum tenens physician job Work Setting: On-site freestanding emergency department Location: Derry, New Hampshire 03038 Annual Volume: Approximately 10,000 emergency department visits in year one Facility Highlights: 11 emergency treatment bays, fully equipped trauma bay, private treatment rooms, separate adult and pediatric waiting areas, on-site CT, ultrasound, and radiology Emergency Medicine Physician Requirements Minimum 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience required Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with recent emergency department experience Active physician license in the practicing state, or eligibility to obtain licensure Strong clinical decision-making skills in a fast-paced emergency care setting Ability to collaborate with physicians, intensivists, hospitalists, specialists, nursing, and EMS teams Emergency Department Responsibilities Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients across a wide range of acuity levels Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergent and urgent conditions in an efficient, patient-centered manner Stabilize patients requiring higher levels of care and coordinate smooth transfers for inpatient admission when needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and effective patient handoffs Use on-site diagnostic imaging and emergency department resources to support timely treatment decisions Deliver high-quality care to both adult and pediatric patient populations Benefits 401K with Matching, Healthcare, Dental and Vision to Employees Company paid malpractice available for 1099 Contractors Weekly Direct Deposit standard benefit for both employees and contractors Equal Opportunity We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity across our organization.
