Employment Summary Position: Patient Services Specialist (PSS) Location: Fleming Island Office, United States of America. Job Description Summary Handle most clerical duties associated with a medical clinic. Perform station‑specific duties and assist co‑workers with all PSS responsibilities. Learn and perform all duties of all front office stations. Provide strong copywriting and editing, attention to detail, and consistency with time‑sensitive priorities. Highly organized and flexible to changing priorities. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. Position Qualifications / Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Experience in a healthcare setting highly preferred. Must have strong multitasking and interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills with a wide variety of personalities. Analysis & Critical Thinking: solid problem‑solving, analysis, decision‑making, planning, time management and organizational skills; must be detailed oriented and exercise independent judgment. Interpersonal Effectiveness: emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness; ability to handle sensitive and confidential material. Communication Skills: command of the English language; second language is an asset but not required; effective oral, written, and presentation skills. Customer Service & Organizational Awareness: strong customer focus and ability to build an engaging culture of quality, performance effectiveness, and operational excellence. Self‑Management: manage own time, conflicting priorities, stress, and professional development; self‑motivated and self‑starter, able to work independently with limited supervision. Work effectively in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment with competing priorities and demands from various stakeholders. Computer Skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required. Certifications / Licenses: Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings; compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy required. Travel: 26–50% of the time. Remote No remote work is available. Standard core workdays/hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
