Job Description OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING! Position: CNC Burning Operator Location: Tigard, OR Pay: $22-$25/hr DOE Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Who We Are: Our client is a well-established structural steel fabrication company known for delivering high-quality, large-scale projects across a variety of industries. What You'll Do: As a CNC Burning Operator, you will play a key role in the fabrication process by operating CNC burn tables and preparing materials for production. Operate CNC plasma and oxy-fuel burn tables (single and multi-torch machines) Read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials, and cutting assignments Lay out cuts and select appropriate materials from stock Mark parts accurately for downstream processes Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify dimensions Utilize a hand torch to cut skeletons and perform cleanup work Safely operate overhead cranes to move materials and finished parts Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment What's In It for You: Consistent 4-day work week with long weekends Great benefits Opportunity to work with a respected leader in structural steel fabrication Team-oriented environment with a strong safety culture Competitive pay with growth opportunities What You Need to Have: Experience operating CNC plasma and/or oxy-fuel burn tables (single or multi-torch) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials, and work instructions Experience with layout, cutting, and material selection from stock Proficiency with measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers) Experience using a hand torch for cutting and cleanup Overhead crane experience preferred Preferred: Experience operating radiograph machines Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Next Steps: If you are interested, please apply with a resume and give Ricky a call at View phone number on click.appcast.io or, Kacie at View phone number on click.appcast.io #LI-RP1 Meet Your Recruiter Richard Pasquale-Uhlman Skilled Trades Recruiter I love helping people and I am super outgoing and upbeat.
