What You'll Do

Deliver high-quality patient care in the emergency department using the nursing process
Assess patient needs and implement appropriate care plans
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Manage resources and assist in the coordination of care activities
Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies
Educate patients and families on treatments and procedures
Document patient interactions accurately and timely

What You Need

Required:

Active RN license in Louisiana
Minimum 2 years of ER or acute care nursing experience
BLS, CPI, ACLS, PALS certifications
Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

Additional certifications in clinical specialty areas
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
