Learning Specialist Overview KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools is hiring a 26‑27 K‑8 Learning Specialist (ESE) for the 2026‑27 school year. The Learning Specialist ensures compliance with Individual Education Plans (IEPs), provides small group instruction and support in general education settings, collaborates with families and staff to meet student IEP goals, implements curriculum, assesses student progress, and facilitates the Response to Intervention (RtI) process across multiple grade levels. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and facilitate regular IEP meetings. Provide small group instruction and support facilitation in general education classrooms. Collaborate with families and staff to support special education processes and student goals. Assist with the Response to Intervention (RtI) process and work across multiple grade levels. Implement curriculum, assess student progress, and maintain a positive classroom environment. Compensation and Benefits The starting salary for a first‑year Learning Specialist is $50,000.
