Pay: $20.00–$23.00/hour, based on experience

Magic Coil Products is a growing, family-owned steel processing company in Butler, Indiana. We are currently hiring Overhead Crane Operators for both 1st and 2nd shift.

Previous overhead crane experience is REQUIRED. We want a candidate with strong work history, overhead crane experience, and a commitment to safety.

What You'll Do

As an Overhead Crane Operator, you will operate a 25- to 35-ton overhead crane to safely move and position large steel coils throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include:

  • Use a remote control to operate overhead cranes to move and position steel coils
  • Load and unload trucks and rail cars
  • Feed steel coils into slitting and processing equipment
  • Safely lift, move, and stage heavy steel materials
  • Inspect crane equipment before use and report any safety or maintenance concerns
  • Follow proper material-handling procedures
  • Communicate with production team members to coordinate safe material movement
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines

Qualifications

  • Previous overhead crane experience required
  • Steel, manufacturing, warehouse, or heavy industrial experience is a plus
  • Experience moving heavy materials or large loads
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and communicate clearly with coworkers
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Willingness to learn and be trained on equipment and procedures

Pay

$20.00–$23.00 per hour , based on prior crane experience. $1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd shift.

Plus:

Weekly Attendance Bonus — Earn an additional $1.00/hour for perfect attendance that week.
