Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oncology Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients diagnosed with various cancers. Key responsibilities include providing direct patient care and ensuring physical and emotional well-being. Candidates should administer chemotherapy treatments and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Participation in clinical trials and assisting in data collection and documentation is required. Specialized procedures such as brachytherapy and neobladder care should be performed as needed. Implementing infection prevention protocols is essential to ensure a safe environment for patients. Monitoring telemetry readings, interpreting dysrhythmias, and responding to changes in patient conditions will be expected. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is important, along with utilizing rapid response teams when necessary. Performing feeding tube care and management, including IV therapy and blood product administration, is required. Computerized charting systems, including accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes, are essential in this role.
