JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

· Has the ability to setup and indicate tooling and fixturing.

· Is capable of setting all machine offsets and starting points.

· Must be able to follow processing and programming to allow the completion of a quality part on a repeat job.

· Has an understanding of tooling, feeds, and speeds to perform minor troubleshooting.

· Assures that all of the gauging and paperwork is at the work station.

· Meets expected production schedule consistently on repeat jobs.

· Monitors and controls machine, tooling, and/or programming to ensure parts meet customer requirements.

· Maintain all documentation as required.

· Must perform all other tasks assigned to them by their supervisor.

· Must assure that the work area is left consistent with 5S standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Manufacturing and hands-on experience of at least 3-6 years required.

· Post high school education and training in a machine background is essential.

· Setup knowledge, quality background, tools befitting a setup, and first aid training are

helpful.

· Well organized, leadership potential, and reliable.

Physical | Visual Demands:

· Ability to stand 8-12 hours a day

· Ability to sit, stand, squat and bend

· Reach overhead with one or both arms

· Repetitive movement of lifting and placing parts on machines / up to 15 pounds

· Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

· Ability to occasionally push/pull up to 75 pounds
