As a Consulting Medical Staff Coordinator in our healthcare organization, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical staff services. You will be working closely with our medical professionals, providing them with the necessary administrative support to deliver excellent patient care. This is a fast-paced role that requires someone who can juggle multiple tasks at once, always maintaining a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of organization. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the daily administrative operations of the medical staff services department.
• Liaise closely with medical staff to ensure they have the necessary support and resources to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medical staff credentials, certifications, and schedules.
• Oversee the scheduling, preparation, and follow-up for medical staff meetings and committee meetings.
• Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new medical staff.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency within the department.
• Handle any issues or concerns raised by medical staff and provide prompt and effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless communication and coordination.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
• Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using healthcare management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical terminology.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.
• Experience in Medical Staff Services is a plus.
