Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Bilingual Escrow Officer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for a mid-level escrow professional ready to take full ownership of their own file pipeline with the support of a dedicated administrative team. You will serve as the primary bilingual liaison for buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders, ensuring smooth, accurate, and compliant real estate closings from contract to disbursement.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Escrow Management: Manage residential purchase and refinance files independently from opening, title review, and condition clearing to funding and recording.
Bilingual Client Support: Conduct closing ceremonies and explain loan documents, settlement statements, and legal forms fluently in both English and Spanish.
Settlement Statement Preparation: Draft and review Closing Disclosures (CDs), HUD-1 statements, escrow instructions, and deeds with high attention to detail.
Title Clearing: Review title commitments, resolve title defects (liens, judgments, HOA dues), and coordinate with underwriters for clear title issuance.
Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain consistent communication with realtors, brokers, loan officers, and clients to keep all parties informed throughout the escrow timeline.
Disbursement & Recording: Audit signed closing packages, balance files, request loan funds, disburse proceeds, and submit documents for county recording.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 3–5 years of direct experience as an Escrow Officer or Senior Escrow Assistant managing individual file pipelines.
Language: Professional fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required.
Licensing: Active Escrow Officer License and Notary Public commission in [State] (or eligible for immediate transfer/re-licensing).
Software Skills: Proficiency with industry escrow platforms (e.g., Qualia, SoftPro, ResWare, or RamQuest).
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of TRID guidelines, title commitment structures, and local real estate closing procedures.
