Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

Active Ohio Intervention Specialist license required
Experience teaching in special education at the elementary, middle, or high school level
Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation

Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment

Role Overview:

Design and deliver individualized instruction for students with diverse learning needs
Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and support inclusion
Develop, update, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Coordinate with service providers, families, and school staff to maximize student success
Track student progress, provide regular updates, and adjust instructional strategies as needed
Create a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and growth
