EmpowerHome Mortgage is looking for motivated, licensed Loan Officers to join our growing team. This is an opportunity designed for Loan Officers who want to focus on what they do best— working with clients, building relationships, and closing loans—while we provide the leads and opportunities to help keep your pipeline moving.

You don't need a massive database or years of mortgage experience to be successful here. If you're licensed, coachable, competitive, and willing to work, we'll provide the opportunity and the support.

• Leads & Opportunities Provided
  You won't be starting from zero. Our Loan Officers receive access to qualified opportunities and leads generated through our business and real estate partnerships.

You don't have to be the most experienced Loan Officer in the market.

You do need to be willing to work.

We're looking for someone who answers the phone, follows up, takes coaching, learns quickly, and genuinely wants to help people become homeowners.

$100,000+ at plan commission

• Prepare and execute the transfer of lender funds for disbursement
• Make certain of loan compliance for all state and federal regulations, as well as mortgage lending/ investor product and program guidelines and policies
• Review all closing conditions are satisfied and executed according to closing instructions
• Check loan closing documentation, third party orders, mortgage closing documents, and closing packages are signed and accurately prepared for the loan files
• Collaborate with loan processor and loan officer or funder from origination to close to ensure loan closing

• Respond quickly and professionally to inbound mortgage leads and opportunities

• Consult with prospective homebuyers to understand their financing goals

• Educate clients on available mortgage programs and financing options

• Pre-qualify and pre-approve qualified borrowers

• Build relationships with clients and real estate professionals

• Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the homebuying process

• Structure mortgage solutions that meet the client's needs

• Maintain accurate records and manage your pipeline

• Partner closely with processing, underwriting, and operations to move loans toward closing

• Deliver an exceptional client experience from initial conversation through closing

• Candidates must be proficient with MS Office, lending or title software, NMLS experience is desired
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills are desired
• Advanced time management, organization, and analysis skills are needed
• Understanding of loan products such as Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA; as well as knowledge of mortgage industry regulations from origination to post-closing is essential
• Two years of real estate mortgage processing, lending, or closing experience preferred, years of experience with banking, credit unions, or financial services funding also accepted

• Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator license

• Licensed in at least one of the following states:

  • Virginia

  • Maryland

  • North Carolina

  • Texas

  • Georgia

  • Colorado

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Highly coachable and willing to learn

• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency

• Ability to manage multiple leads and follow up consistently

• Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment

• Customer-focused mindset

Mortgage lending experience is preferred, but not required.
