Inpatient Wound Ostomy Nurse

Job Summary Seeking Inpatient Wound Care Center RN! Baptist Health Floyd, Inpatient Wound. Full-time (40 Hours Weekly), Days (8:00am-4:30pm) Monday thru Friday, no weekends, holidays or on-call. Benefit Eligible. Job Description Responsible for a variety of functions related to the specialty preparation in stoma care and education, skin care, and incontinence management. The nurse will serve as a consultant with physicians, nursing, hospital, and home care staff. Assesses patients, recommends treatment of wounds, skin care management, and pre- and post-operatively for stomas and is the primary educator. Plans nursing care to provide continuity of care from hospital to home environment (for ostomy, wounds, and continence patients), implements and evaluates treatments. Qualifications Current Indiana or compact state RN license required. Bachelor's degree preferred. BLS for Healthcare Provider required. Must complete required training for Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care within one month of hire. 2 years of RN experience required. Benefits We offer competitive salaries and excellent benefits.
