Director of Operations - Filtration Division

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven operations leader to oversee the performance, efficiency, and growth of a filtration division. In this role, you will guide day-to-day operations while driving long-term improvements across production, supply chain coordination, quality, safety, and team performance. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, a process-focused mindset, and the ability to align operational execution with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize division-wide operations to support productivity, quality, service, and profitability goals.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow across production and support functions.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, supply chain, quality, and finance teams to ensure aligned execution.
• Monitor operational KPIs and take action to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support on-time delivery.
• Drive safety, compliance, and quality standards throughout all operational activities.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and operating expenses to ensure strong financial performance.
• Evaluate staffing needs, support talent development, and build a high-performing team culture.
• Identify process bottlenecks and lead improvement efforts using data-driven decision-making.
• Support customer satisfaction by ensuring reliable execution, responsiveness, and product consistency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of progressive leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, or industrial production.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple operational priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of production planning, quality systems, lean principles, and process improvement.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze performance data, and make sound business decisions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining accountability for results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in filtration, manufacturing, industrial products, or a related technical industry.
• Background in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with ERP systems, production reporting tools, or operational dashboards.
• Demonstrated success in scaling operations or improving performance in a growing organization.
