RN Supervisor

Job Summary INTEGRIS Health Baptist Plaza Surgery Center, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, has a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse Supervisor in Oklahoma City. As a RN Supervisor, you will work 0700-1530 with our Surgery team providing exceptional care to patients entrusted to INTEGRIS Health. Responsibilities Develop and implement staffing plan for shift based on patient acuity, patient census and available staff. Serve as a resource to staff for solving clinical problems. Participate in patient and safety rounding and provide real‑time feedback to staff. Assist staff to efficiently utilize staffing resources to meet patient care requirements and other professional responsibilities. Provide for immediate follow‑up, documentation and communication of incidents to appropriate manager and director. Anticipate actual or potential problems on shift and set shift priorities accordingly. Work collaboratively with nursing and ancillary staff to solve problems in a fair, consistent manner. Provide support, guidance and feedback to staff; give ongoing timely feedback, verbal and written anecdotes, to staff on performance. Written anecdotes are passed to the nurse manager or director for performance evaluation. Assist staff to provide a safe work environment for patient care. Assist in the preparation and implementation of the annual goals for the department. Consistently and independently follow established safety and infection control procedures. Intervene in unsafe situations. The RN Supervisor nursing’s management of the delivery and documentation of patient care includes, but is not limited to: assessment/re‑assessments; development of the plan of care; implementation of appropriate patient care interventions; and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions. Potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals. Must follow standard precautions. Additional Requirements for IACC Supervisors Maintain operational knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance for IACC program certifying and governing agencies. Shared on‑call responsibilities as required for program operations. Participate in optimization of IACC program workflows, operational efficiencies, and clinical quality initiatives. Participate in program development opportunities related to marketing and outreach (including outreach clinics). Required Qualifications Associate’s degree in nursing. Registered Nurse (RN) current licensure in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state. BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
