Responsibilities Project Safety Advisor | Detroit, MIAs a Project Safety Advisor, you’ll lead the charge in building a culture where safety is more than a priority — it’s a core value. You’ll ensure best practices are implemented, compliance standards are met, and every team member goes home safe each day.HazTek is seeking an experienced Project Safety Advisor to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA complianceConduct daily safety meetingsComplete accident reports and conduct accident investigationsDaily safety audits and inspectionsOversee all subcontractors and contractorsOversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation Qualifications Minimum 10 years direct construction safety experience requiredMinimum 5 years supporting hyperscale or mission-critical data center constructionBCSP Certification, OSHA 510 or 500 a requiredStrong understanding of owner expectations versus contractor safety responsibilities Overview HazTek Safety Management is a full-service, objective safety partner, founded in 1997.
