Assistant Plant Manager

Our client seeks a visionary leader to influence the trajectory of their operations. This role offers a path to General Manager with potential relocations to various facilities. Flexibility in relocation is required.

About The Role

As a key leader in our client's team, you will drive operational excellence and financial performance in a manufacturing environment. Your strategic insight and leadership will be pivotal in achieving ambitious business goals and fostering growth within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and enhance the plant's financial performance, including balance sheet and P&L oversight.
Direct capital investments to optimize returns and manage risks.
Prepare and execute budgets to drive the division's value.
Collaborate with stakeholders to meet ambitious targets.
Foster customer relationships to deliver exceptional solutions.
Craft and implement a clear business strategy aligned with global objectives.
Ensure successful product launches with a focus on quality and financial success.
Lead by example, overseeing plant operations and supporting departments.
Develop a motivated workforce through strategic planning and development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
Minimum of eight years of leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive sector.
Proven success in navigating complex automotive markets.
Expertise in financial management, program leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong leadership, coaching, and negotiation skills.
