Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Manage labor and delivery processes, including recovery of mothers
• Receive and transition newborns, performing assessments
• Handle potential OB emergencies such as shoulder dystocia and PP hemorrhage
• Perform C-sections and assist in vacuum or forceps deliveries

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• BLS and NRP certifications
• Fetal Monitoring training
• Proven experience with labor and delivery
• Fetal monitoring education and experience with inductions
