Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide comprehensive care during labor and recovery stages
• Transition and assess newborns
• Manage potential OB emergencies such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
• Perform and assist in C-sections, circumcisions, and other deliveries
• Utilize fetal monitoring and manage inductions
• Conduct daily safety and patient experience rounds

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Valid RN license in TN
• BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring training certifications
• Labor and delivery experience
• Proficiency with fetal monitoring and induction procedures
