Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics - Health Sciences Series, University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF09197 The Mattel Children's Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at UCLA seek faculty members at the Clinical Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level to join the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. Faculty appointments and salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Responsibilities Provide outpatient care and consultative inpatient attending services. Assist with the education of fellows, residents, and medical students. Participate in scholarly endeavors that support academic promotion. Assist with or take responsibility for the resident education program within the Division. Qualifications Board-certified in Pediatrics. BC/BE in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. Three to six years of relevant experience in an academic or clinical setting (highly desirable; highly qualified applicants with less experience will be considered). Expertise in a broad range of common Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics problems, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, behavioral issues, intellectual disabilities, NICU high‑risk infant follow‑up, cerebral palsy, genetic conditions such as Down Syndrome, sleep and feeding disorders, and speech, language, and learning disorders. Eligibility to work in the United States and licensure or licensability to practice medicine in California. Benefits Salary range: $104,800 – $254,335. The position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which provides additional compensation opportunities.
