This role serves as a developing technical resource within the Systems Team, assisting senior team members with projects, maintenance activities, system administration tasks, and escalated support requests. The Junior Systems Administrator is responsible for resolving day-to-day systems-related service requests, assisting with infrastructure projects, maintaining documentation, supporting Microsoft cloud technologies, and ensuring reliable technology services across a multi-site healthcare environment. This position provides an opportunity for technical growth through hands‑on exposure to Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Windows Server administration, automation, security controls, and enterprise infrastructure management. Required Qualifications Education · Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience · 1-3 years of experience in technical support, desktop support, help desk, or junior administration roles. · Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments. · Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues. · Experience working in a team-oriented IT environment. Technical Skills Required Knowledge · Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11 · Active Directory fundamentals · Entra ID fundamentals · Basic networking concepts · Hardware and software troubleshooting · PowerShell fundamentals · DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP basics Preferred Knowledge · Conditional Access · Device compliance management · Virtualization technologies · Backup and recovery platforms Preferred Certifications One or more of the following: · Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals · Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) Core Competencies · Ability to learn new technologies quickly · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Attention to detail · Ability to work independently and within a team · Time management and prioritization skills · Commitment to continuous learning Essential Duties and Responsibilities Systems Administration · Manage user accounts, group memberships, and access requests within Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory environments. · Support Microsoft 365 administration, including user provisioning, licensing, and mailbox management. · Perform routine system maintenance tasks following established procedures. · Assist with Windows Server administration and troubleshooting. · Monitor system health and report issues to senior team members. · Maintain and update technical documentation. Assist in the administration of: o Microsoft 365 o Exchange Online o SharePoint Online o Teams · Support device enrollment and management initiatives. · Assist with Conditional Access policy validation and testing. · Support identity and access management activities. · Assist with endpoint deployment and configuration using Intune and Autopilot. · Troubleshoot device management issues for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices. · Support software deployment and application management initiatives. · Assist with compliance policy monitoring and remediation activities. · Support endpoint security configurations and standards. Technical Support & Ticket Management · Serve as the primary technical resource for systems-related service requests that fall beyond Help Desk responsibilities. · Respond to and resolve assigned tickets within established service levels. · Escalate issues requiring specialized expertise to the Systems Administrator or Senior Azure Administrator. · Assist users with system-related troubleshooting and support. · Provide excellent customer service while maintaining technical accuracy. · Account provisioning and deprovisioning · Microsoft 365 issues · Azure and Entra ID administration requests · Printer and application troubleshooting · Endpoint compliance issues · File access and permissions requests Project Support · Assist Systems Administrators with infrastructure projects and technology implementations. · Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and deployments. · Support testing and validation efforts during project activities. · Perform assigned project tasks and maintain project documentation. · Assist with hardware installations and system rollouts. Security & Compliance · Follow organizational security policies and standards. · Support security remediation efforts under the direction of senior team members. · Assist with access reviews and user access audits. · Identify and report potential security concerns. · Support HIPAA compliance requirements and protection of sensitive information. · Maintain confidentiality of organizational information and systems. Documentation & Process Improvement · Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles. · Document troubleshooting processes and resolutions. · Recommend improvements to operational procedures. · Maintain accurate records of work performed and changes implemented. #J-18808-Ljbffr
