Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient examinations and assessments, carefully reviewing medical histories to establish effective treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies, using results to inform clinical decisions.
• Diagnose acute health conditions, and implement treatment strategies and interventions in accordance with evidence-based practices.
• Create tailored management plans for patients with chronic illnesses, ensuring they receive education and resources to optimize their health outcomes.
• Prescribe medications, monitor their effects, and adjust dosages as necessary while closely following up with patients.
• Maintain meticulous and organized patient records in compliance with regulations, ensuring accurate and confidential documentation.
• Engage patients and their families in discussions about preventive care and health education, enhancing their understanding of health issues.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices and preventative measures within the community, participating in outreach and educational initiatives.
• Stay informed about advancements in medical protocols and healthcare best practices through ongoing professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
• Current and valid California State Physician Assistant license (PA-C) with an active DEA number.
• Proven clinical experience in urgent care, primary care, or emergency room settings.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and patient care protocols.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with patients and staff.
• Demonstrated ethical standards and a commitment to providing patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits

The Urgent Care Physician Assistant position offers a competitive salary range of USD 140,000 – 180,000 yearly , in addition to a sign-on bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
