Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule: 12 Hour NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15. Every other weekend – Saturday/Sunday.

Assignment Details: Contract length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of emergency department experience.
• Accepts first-time travelers and local candidates.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, and MOAB (MOAB class will be offered).
• Required skills: IV start, triage, telemetry, conscious sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration.
• Preferred skills: experience with critical care patients, trauma, triage, and inpatient boarding.
• Desired certifications: ENPC and TNCC.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health and wellness topics.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Compliance / Notes:

RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may result in cancellation and DNR. A maximum of 7 days RTO is allowable for auto offers.
