Wound Ostomy Nurse

Schedule

8am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 16

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in specialty
• Required AHA BLS certification
• CWON(R) or CWOCN(R) certification
• Wound care certification (WCC, CWS, or CWCN)
• Ostomy certification is optional

Responsibilities

• Perform assessment and management of patients with wound, ostomy, and continence issues
• Educate patients and families on wound care and related topics
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and care provided

Compliance / Notes

MUST work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
