Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Rover in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Tue: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Wed: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Thur: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Sun: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor, vendor, and/or driver activity in accordance with site procedures, and report concerns involving deliveries, trailers, freight areas, and restricted locations. Support order at the location by observing daily operations, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with security‑related requests from site personnel and visitors. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
