Personal Lines Account Manager

Account SpecialistWe are a boutique insurance agency specializing in affluent and highly successful clientele. We are looking for an Account Specialist to create long-term, trusting relationships with our highly successful clientele. The Account Specialist's role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers. The primary function of this position is to meet the overall insurance needs of our customers. In this role, you will liaise with our internal teams and our partner companies to provide prompt, accurate, timely and courteous service to our clients, as well as maintain a positive customer experience. If you are familiar with insurance agency management systems, have a flair for client communication and understand consumer behavior, we'd like to meet you. Ideally, candidates for this role will enjoy a fast-paced environment while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged.ResponsibilitiesServe as the lead point of contact for all customer account management mattersBuild and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationshipsService assigned portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts for clients new home and car purchases, renewal account reviews, endorsement requests, cancellations, etc.Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectivesRe-market accounts when appropriateMaintain client activity in the agency management systemDevelop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement and account roundingRemain current on knowledge of coverage, policy forms and rates to effectively address customer's insurance needsCollaborate with our team and maintain good relationships with carrier underwriters and any partner staffSkillsProven work experience as a personal lines Account ManagerExperience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs in a timely mannerProven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and follow agency workflowsStrong verbal and written communication skillActive Property and Casualty Producers licenseAbility to work well with others and prioritizeSolid experience with Agency Management software (AMS 360 preferred) and MS OfficeDesired QualificationsAMS360 management system experienceWorking knowledge of management and quoting systems for company partners (Chubb, PURE, Cincinnati, Berkley One, Travelers, Hanover, etc.)Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and the internetCompensation: The base salary range for this role is $75,000.00–$85,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be based on factors including location, skills, experience, and internal equity.
