Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and evaluations to create personalized treatment plans for clients, ensuring that their unique needs are addressed.

• Engage clients in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitate therapy sessions that may include individual therapy, group therapy, family interventions, and couple's counseling, adapting techniques to meet the needs of diverse populations.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and peer support specialists, to share insights and enhance client care.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and state regulations, thus fostering accountability in patient care.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training workshops to stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role involves working with a diverse range of clients who present various emotional and psychological challenges. You may encounter individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders, among others. Your ability to adapt your therapy techniques to fit each client's unique background and situation will be vital in fostering effective and meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience is essential, preferably within a clinical setting where therapeutic interventions are deployed.

Compensation and Benefits\n
