You will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the plant. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help create a collaborative, high-performance environment focused on safety, quality, and results.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage production teams to ensure the efficient execution of manufacturing schedulesOptimize labor, materials, and equipment utilization to meet production targetsAnalyze production data and drive performance improvementsCoach and develop team members to foster a high-performance cultureOversee maintenance activities to ensure equipment uptime and reliabilityDevelop and execute preventative and predictive maintenance programsDirect equipment installation, commissioning, and modificationsMaintain accurate records of equipment performance and lifecycleAlign maintenance schedules with production priorities to minimize disruptionPartner with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and improve processesEnsure strong coordination between production scheduling and maintenance executionLead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and lower costsEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, promoting a strong safety culture across teamsEnforce policies and procedures consistentlyWe are looking for individuals with a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field. Required experience includes 7–10+ years in manufacturing and/or maintenance in an industrial setting, and 3–5+ years of leadership experience managing teams. Preferred qualifications include experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies, familiarity with ERP systems and CMMS platforms, and experience in cable, wire, or similar industrial manufacturing environments.Works in a combined office and manufacturing environment, with regular time spent on the production floor supporting operations and maintenance activities. Will be required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and squat throughout the workday. Extended periods of sitting or standing may occur, along with frequent walking across a large manufacturing facility. Will be required to use a computer and standard office equipment, including typing, reading, writing, and speaking fluently. Employee will regularly be required to lift and carry objects of 5–10 pounds as needed, occasionally lift and carry 15–25 pounds, and rarely lift up to 40 pounds. Work is performed in a high-volume, fast-paced, and dynamic environment requiring continuous coordination of schedules, resources, and priorities. The role requires the ability to respond efficiently and effectively to unanticipated problems and changing operational demands.
