We are looking for sales-driven individuals who are self-motivated, possess outstanding communication and customer service skills, and bring a strong work ethic and desire to succeed. Candidates should be comfortable building relationships, understanding customers’ needs, and providing the elevated level of service expected at a Cooper Auto Group dealership.This is an outstanding opportunity to build a rewarding career with an established, successful automotive group, offering proven six-figure income potential for high-performing sales professionals.We offer a competitive gross commission pay plan plus unit bonuses and kick start compensation plan during your structured training period.ResponsibilitiesIdentify customer needs, preferences, budget, and vehicle requirements.Helps customer with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features, value-add products and services, and purchase and finance options following dealership policiesConducts vehicle test drives and ensures all speed limits and all other rules of the road are followedNegotiates sale closure in a clear, concise, and highly ethical fashionHelps facilitate delivery by providing a clear explanation of vehicle and features operation, warranty, and servicing requirementsMaintains accurate sales documentationMaintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotionsAttends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as requiredHelps educate/train new staff membersPerforms other duties as assignedCore Competencies:Customer Focus — Builds trust and creates a professional, positive buying experience.Drive for Results — Sets goals, follows through, and maintains consistent activity.Communication — Communicates clearly and professionally in person, by phone, text, and email.Coachability — Accepts feedback and applies training to improve performance.Accountability — Takes ownership of commitments, follow-up, and results.Relationship Building — Develops long-term customer relationships that generate repeat and referral business.Resilience — Maintains effort and professionalism despite rejection, changing priorities, or challenging customer situations.Teamwork — Works effectively with Sales Management, F&I, Service, BDC, and other dealership departments.Commissioned sales experience (any industry) a plus.
