Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting that encourages flexibility and work-life balance. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing you to manage your time efficiently while focusing on your clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for the following:

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
\n
• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, goals, and circumstances.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address and manage mood disorders effectively.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and strategies for self-care and resilience.
\n
• Monitor client progress through regular evaluations, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments of their development.
\n
• Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork by coordinating care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients experiencing mental health stigma and work proactively to address their needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals facing a range of mood disorders, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will also provide support to vulnerable populations, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Your expertise and compassionate approach will be instrumental in guiding these clients towards recovery and sustained emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to foster a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' unique experiences and challenges.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively manage client appointments and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n
