Work Environment\n

This role combines the benefits of remote work with the collaborative nature of an outpatient office. You will primarily work from home but will have the opportunity to engage with clients in person as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client symptoms, particularly concerning mood disorders and relational difficulties.

• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect the individual needs, goals, and preferences of clients.

• Facilitate psychoeducation sessions for clients and their families, helping them to understand mental health conditions and the strategies employed in therapy.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and other members of the care team to ensure integrated treatment approaches that are beneficial to clients.

• Regularly track client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to maximize therapeutic outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards for mental health care.

• Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and case reviews to enhance treatment approaches and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on adult clients and families navigating complex mental health issues, including mood disorders, relationship conflicts, and transitional stressors. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing culturally competent care that recognizes individual backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active LMFT license in California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
