Accounting Manager

Pay Range USD $70,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Hr. Job Description Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. As Accounting Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting hotel operations, delivering exceptional service, and helping our team achieve its operational and business goals. Job Purpose The Accounting position supports accurate and timely financial operations for the hotel or assigned business function. This position maintains financial records, processes transactions, prepares reports, and supports internal controls while protecting company assets and maintaining confidentiality. What You'll Do Process, review, and reconcile financial transactions and records. Prepare routine financial reports, schedules, reconciliations, and documentation. Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash, or general ledger activity as assigned. Investigate discrepancies and communicate issues to appropriate leadership. Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation in accordance with company procedures. Assist with month-end and year-end close activities as assigned. Follow internal controls, approval processes, and company accounting policies. Maintain confidentiality of financial, associate, guest, and company information. Communicate effectively with hotel departments, vendors, associates, and management. Support audits and provide documentation as requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; accounting, finance, or business degree preferred depending on the role. Previous accounting, finance, hotel, or related experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work accurately with numbers and financial information. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. What We're Looking For A detail-oriented professional who values accuracy and accountability. Use standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and calculators. Occasionally lift or carry files, supplies, or equipment up to 25 pounds.
