Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager | Contract-to-Hire | Onsite | Montebello, CA

We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing company seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys leading a team, improving processes, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Montebello, CA (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay: $50-$60/hour DOE

Duration: Contract-to-Hire

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Oversee general ledger accounting activities
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Supervise and mentor a team of 2 GL Accountants
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance
• Partner with leadership to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
• Utilize accounting systems and technology to support business operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5-15 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong general ledger and month/year-end close experience
• Prior supervisory or management experience required
• Manufacturing or related industry experience preferred
• Experience with Sage 100 is preferred
• Exposure to or experience using AI tools in a professional setting
