Overview
Registered Nurse (OB/GYN) – Hanford, California. Travel assignment starts 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range is $2,179 to $2,390 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is nights (3x12-hour blocks, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Work setting is a Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for obstetric patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, assist with labor, delivery, and cesarean sections as needed.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians, midwives, and other disciplines.
- Collect relevant data, assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients, families, and treatment teams.
- Document care in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and ensure uninterrupted, safe, and holistic patient care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California) – Required
- Education: BSN preferred; new grads considered with strong OB/GYN ACU care experience
- Experience: At least two years of recent OB/GYN or acute care nursing experience – Required
- Certifications: BLS/CPR required; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS required; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS required; AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS required
- Additional: EPIC experience highly preferred; able to take over recovery in Labor and Delivery and assist with cesarean deliveries
- Licensure and credentials must be current at start of assignment
