Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – OB
Location: Hanford, California
Shift: Night Shift | 36–48 Hours Weekly | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Dates: 06/08/2026 – 09/06/2026
Department: Obstetrics Acute Care
Facility: 173-Bed Acute Care Hospital
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled RN- OB to bring compassionate, high-level care to mothers and newborns in a supportive community hospital setting. we is seeking a confident and skilled RN for its Obstetrics Acute Care unit.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated, patient-centered nursing care
Monitor antepartum and postpartum patients
Support normal newborn care
Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families throughout the care journey
Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care
Exercise strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making
Supervise and coordinate support staff activities
Step into recovery support in Labor & Delivery when needed
Assist in cesarean section deliveries and newborn transitions
Required
✅ Active California RN License
✅ BLS Certification
✅ ACLS Certification
✅ NRP Certification
✅ Ability to recover Labor & Delivery patients
✅ Experience assisting in cesarean births
✅ Acute care nursing experience preferred
Preferred
BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
Previous OB or maternal-child acute care experience
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
